The shea butter used for this base comes from a supplier registered with the Vegan Society. You have the nut of the African Shea tree blended and whipped to a creamy consistency with cocoa butter. This butter is formulated especially for aromatherapists so that it can be blended with essential oils, used to create balms and moisturizes to treat a range of skin issues including eczema, sunburn, insect bites, etc. The butter acts as a protective barrier. This butter makes a great base for 24-hour hour protection. It is particularly suitable for winter body moisturizing protection or your skin can become extremely dry such on a ski holiday where your skin may face extreme cold. Suitable for all skin types. |
Blending Guide.
Add up to 30 drops of essential oil for each 100ml of butter. The butter is thicker than creams so you will need to use a little more effort to fold essential oils into the butter.
Carrier Oils: Add up to 5%.
Application Directions: Apply to slightly damp skin and allow the butter to be naturally absorbed.
